Preparations for the festival are well under way to ensure that the capital enjoys another truly international celebration of tango music and dance. RIVER TANGO - LONDON INTERNATIONAL TANGO FESTIVAL 2009 will feature a selection of artists who are top exponents of their styles.

The organizers of the Thames Festival have decided to change their programme and, consequently, River Tango will not be by the river this year. We will instead relocate to the splendid Spitalfields Market on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th with our MILONGA DEL ABASTO to offer you two open air free afternoon milongas with workshops for absolute beginners, shows and many other surprises.

We have also arranged to have RIVER TANGO VILLAGE at the market, where you will be able to buy traditional Argentinean produce as well as quality tango shoes, clothes, CDs, DVDs, etc. Please contact us should you desire to run a stall in the village.
