DJ Os
Osvaldo was born in Buenos Aires and since his early years he was always involved in music and art, djing in parties and clubs. Surrounded by tango all the time with a very musical family, his father used to play the bandoneon and his aunts and uncles used to sing tango at all the family gatherings.
Having lived in London for several years he was influenced by the immense variety of cultures covering the metropolis.
In 1993 tango impacted him more than ever when the famous shows Tango Argentino and Forever Tango came to London. He was a witness of the amazing rise of tango finally discovering the dance having another great commotion.
Around that time he began to DJ in a venue that later became one of the most important milongas in London: Zero Hour in North London. He helped to organizse the musical evenings there, thanks to the goodwill, vision and support of Biljana Lipic, the creator and owner. Later when she left the club, he kept working with Carolina Osorio, the current owner, with whom he had an excellent and supporting working relationship. He was the resident DJ at Zero Hour for around 10 years until his return to Buenos Aires, where is currently based working as DJ, tango organizer and running a charming guest house for tangueros.
